COURSE DESCRIPTION Rice is Asia’s economically and culturally most important food crop and its production is regarded as the single most important economic activity on the planet. This five-day Basic Rice Production Course is an IRRI orientation to rice production from seed preparation to post harvest. It is designed to update the participant’s knowledge and skills concerning best practices and new technology associated with wetland rice farming.
