Plant pathology; courseware development; and technical assistance…
Angie got her BS degree in Agriculture major in Plant Pathology as well as her MS units in Plant Pathology minor in Environmental Science from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, Laguna. At present, she is taking MS in Development Communication from the University of the Philippines Open University.
As TC Specialist, she facilitates and coordinates the management of IRRI training courses at headquarters and abroad. She also documents course implementation and trainee’s learning outcomes through pre- and post training evaluation and serves as resource person and advices trainees within her area of expertise. Angie conducts and facilitates on-the-job training related study tours of NARS officials and scientists; assists course coordinators in identifying and delineating scope of courseware materials based on training design; gathers and verifies technical accuracy of data and information from existing publications, content matter experts in the drafting of manuscript/course materials, and provides subject-matter expertise in the drafting and reviewing of manuscript/course materials in close coordination with content experts. She also participates in the conduct of collaborative training and research for development projects in the Philippines and elsewhere and provides technical and logistical support services to collaborative projects.
