OFFICE OF SCHOLARS' AFFAIRS

The scholars’/trainees affairs manages our scholarship program. We maintain the IRRI degree/post degree program and enable the scholars to optimize learning during their tenure here. We particularly function to:

• generate donor interest and propose scholarship administration arrangements for the program;
• closely collaborate with universities administering the academic component of scholars’ program;
• monitor the scholars’ progress to provide timely intervention;
• provide sufficient time for scholars to complete their program and establish responsibility for non-completion;
• enable a more active role in improving their language capability to facilitate learning through a more aggressive English proficiency development program;
• manage scholars’/trainees entitlements; and
• improve the quality of dormitory life.
